I've had these DVDs for awhile now, as I just can't get enough of Family Guy (FOX should shoot themselves for pulling it off the air). Well, both DVD sets are a must have for anyone who likes to laugh.
The Griffin household consists of 6 members. There's Peter, the main character of Family Guy and husband and father in the family. He has a nack for reciting things he's seen on TV quite often, and also isn't known to be the brightest of people. He's definitly gotta be one of the best parts of the series.
The wife and mother of the family is Lois, who is probably supposed to represent the average mother, who protects their children. Of course, some of her methods for protection are quite absurd and violent.
Meg is the eldest of the children, she is in High School and has no friends. She is often neglected by her family and cries about how she has no social life.
Chris...definitly takes after Peter. He isn't the brightest character, and often seems like he's high, and has the mentality of a child. An evil monkey lives in his closet.
Stewie is the incarnation of EVIL in a one year old's body. He often tries to kill off Lois, and fantasizes about it often. He vows to one day conquer the world. He has hundreds of weapons at his disposal, some more advanced that every day weaponry! He isn't taken seriously because he's a baby.
Brian is the dog, who can talk. He is a sophisticated individual who enjoys opera, and hanging out with Peter. Even though he's extremely intelligent, he will always be Peter's best friend because Peter showed him kindness and took him into his home. He's also an alcoholic and smoker.
This is an ingenious show, and I can't believe there are only 3 seasons. This is a DVD collection that is worth the money, you will not regret it. You'll see what happens when Peter creates his own country and throws a pool party with the terrorists of the world to Stewie travelling to Europe to join a kiddy TV show.
Great DVD collection, a must buy if you wanna laugh for days.
