Ok, many years ago, on the fabeled SNES, a game known as Crono Trigger was made. It was a phenominall hit, and people loved it. Then, a few years back, a sequall was released, known as Chrono Cross.
This game was supposed to be an actuall sequall, but there were vary few similarities between them. The simplest things have been changed, as have the larger things.
Graphics: 9.5/10 The graphics, at the time, were some of the greatest I have seen. The overhead map, and, the battles, were a little blurry, but when you got to cutscenes, it was like games are know, 3D to the max.
Sound:10/10 Most people didnt like the music in this game, but I personally loved it. There were times when you could be blind, and crying just by the music. You would be angered by some music, and feel enlightened by other music.
Story: (can I give this more than a ten? If so, 15/10 otherwise)10/10 The story was possibley the best I have seen ever. The beggining, you're just a teenage boy, getting your girlfreind a handmade necklace. When you gather everything, you meet her on a beach and a talking scene beggins. After that, you here a voice, and get attacked by a wave from nowhere. When you come to, you find yourself in another dimenison. Then the plot starts to thicken with other goodies and tons of characters.
Game Play: 10/10 The gameplay was quick to learn, and never repetative, unlike FF games where it is always the same.
Difficulty: 9/10 The difficulty varied form where you were, the equipment you had, and the characters you chose. Most of the tme, it could prove a challenge, while other times it was easier than breathing. It always varied.
Replay Value: 8/10 Since there are multiple endings, varying on where you beat the final boss(youll see). There are also special things you always miss, but it gets old around the third time through.
Originality:10/10 I have never in my life seen this type of game. The battle system, the characters and how they act, the plot, it all adds up to a great game that you will want.
