Graphics: 10/10
TERRIFIC graphics. The best I've seen. Everything is smooth, and pretty much perfect. I have heard RUMORS of screen tearing, but I never experienced it, which leads me to believe that it's a PS2 system problem.
Sound & Music: 9/10
Great sound, and the voices are perfect. The music changes when you trigger something in the game, and it's a good indicator of near by enemies, so stay on guard.
Story: 10/10
The story may not seem original, but it's GREAT. Though it is a tad predictable at times to see what's coming, but I thought the placement and gradual advancement was great, along with the twists.
Control: 9/10
I found nothing wrong with the controls, except aiming is a bit troublesome in tight situations, unless youc an pull off some cool new moves with the weaponry. Plus the hoverboard is relatively easy to use after you get used to it (there's a level that will make you a master at it).
Gameplay: 10/10
There's so much to do, you have to keep coming back to play. Collecting the 200 precursor orbs to unlock the secrets in the game along with Hero Mode definitly takes some time. Otherwise, you can just slaughter people as Dark Jak in the city with invulnerability and such.
Overall: 9/10
GREAT playformer. I'd recommend the game to anyone, if not everyone. It's definitly worth the money (it's only $40!). Plus, who wouldn't want to overthrow an evil baron who pumped you full of dangerous substances also transforming you into a monster at will?
